WHOSOEVER

One of my most memorable verses in the Bible is “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16. This verse is just so wonderful and is just screaming with love.

There is one word however that sticks out to me greatly and that is “whosoever”. On the surface, this seems pretty simple and it means anyone. But it’s really easy to just glance over the fact that God gave his only Son for everyone. God’s love is so great and is so wonderful that he gave his Son for whosoever. He didn’t just give his Son for people who may only sin once nor did he just give his Son for people that have killed hundreds of people, but he gave him for you! No matter who you are God loves you so much that he gave his Son for you! No matter how many times you have sinned and no matter how many times you have tried to be perfect God gave Jesus for you.


Never give up because God will never give you up. Stay strong in his will and he will provide. God has given his Son, Jesus, for whosoever. The price has been paid and all you need to do is just believe and trust in Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith.
